  No different than the preach fest at a JW funeral or memorial service. They justify it in their minds as saving these worldly ones from the impending destruction at Armageddon. Agree with DATA-DOG's comments that when it comes to non-witness worldly ones, JW's are sociopaths

  always the fashionista amongst the governing body members, mr. stephen lett recently showed us how even an older man can display a certain swagger, a certain je nesais quoi that says, "i'm one of the anointed, and you're not!".

  he does this in so many ways, but the one i want to draw our attention to is the way he rocked the theocratic fashion world with his wearing of a very manly pinkie ring in a recent wtbts video.. - -.

  My frist email letter from my JW Dad. So sad...

  i am in my early 30s and woke up to ttatt in late 2012. my dad just turned 65 in june!

  wow, i never saw that being possible.. .

  he just got himself a computer and was able to get internet in a remote location where he is serving as an elder with my mom (where the need is great) i was happy to see how he was able to send me a few notes saying hi and i was able to share some pictures of my wife and family, etc.. .

  a minny man in a local congregation has a beard...he was bullied by the elders to remove it.. then the co came along and told the elders to allow him to keep his beard.

  (not as the result of any skin condition or anything).. i kid you not!!!.

  what do you make of that?.

  due to downsizing, i would like to get rid of them.

  if some of are of value and have not being scanned, i could scan them for all to share.

  Full-time service is MORE IMPORTANT than taking care of elderly parents!!! It says so in the Sept 2014 WT

  paragraph 20 out of the article in the sept 2014 study wt about fulltime service says this.... .

  "full-time servants age, and so do their parents.

  when parents are witnesses, likely their fondest wish is for their children to stay in their assignments.

  EndofMysteries, I knew one JW sister that didn't leave a cent to her children but left it all to the society. None of the children now have anything to do with the relgion. Some good witness.

  Leaving Quietly...your post was spot on. I am ashamed to say, during the ressurection video, I got the 'goosebumps'...it was weird. I guess just human emotion I can't control. I wish it were true, but alas...Yes, We flew in (went rogue, un-invited) we have family in the Seattle Tacoma area, and the PNW is one of my fav places. Will post more...

  No need to feel ashamed as any mind control cult knows the right buttons to push. I know when I attended the conventions, even though I was fading, I would get taken up in all the hype feeling good of the District conventions.
